Where to Stay in Geneva with Family

Geneva is divided into two parts – the Rive Gauche and the Rive Droite , or the left bank and right bank. They are separated by the famous Lac Leman. The Old Town is on the left bank, whilst the airport, train station and many businesses (such as the Red Cross and The UN) are on the right bank.

So which area is best for parents and children? Well we think Eaux-Vives is Geneva’s most family friendly neighbourhood. It is home to Geneva’s largest park, the Parc de la Grange, where little ones can run off some energy. In addition it has many shops, restaurants and cafes, and it is within walking distance of the Lake and the Old Town.
