4. Lucky Beach Cafe
Delicious local, sustainable food and drink right in the middle of Brighton beach. They have their own organic coffee roastery up the road, sharing their profits with the Rwandan coffee farmers families. They also have a coffee shop and a Thai restaurant in Brighton. The children’s menu is really versatile too, offering dishes like Coconut Bircher for breakfast or for lunch a small “impossible burger” which is entirely meat free.

This one might not look much from the outside, but it’s right next to Hove Lagoon, a big park and the beach, so there’s loads of space for little ones to let off steam before you eat. A popular place for parents during the week, it does get busy at weekends due its fabulous seaside location. However there are usually plenty of highchairs and helpful staff to accommodate your family.
