Salzburg is great to pick up food on the streets during Christmas Markets. Outside this Winter season, the city has quite a lot of restaurants that will satisfy adults and kids without breaking the bank or being looked at from neighbours tables.

At BabyBreaks, we have researched the best child-friendly restaurants in Salzburg, so you can plan your meal times around the city.

1. Susie’s Diner

This restaurant is probably not the most typical restaurant in Salzburg to taste local food but is a true favourite restaurant for adults and children who want to experience a burger within the famous Sixties décor. The ribs are to die for as well. So look no further for an easy going place for lunch or dinner in Salzburg.

5. Stiftskeller St. Peter

StPeter is supposedly the oldest restaurant in Europe. Close by St Peter’s Abbey, this restaurant is refined and might put you off with young children. But have no fear, the restaurant is child-friendly and offers a child menu as well. Yes it is a bit expensive with a great service but at no point did we feel not at our place with our young children. Book your table in advance and try to be early for the sake of the kids.
