10. Aquarium de la Universidad de Murcia

Last but not least, I would strongly suggest driving to Murcia and visiting the aquarium De la Universidad. This activity is a good alternative to water parks and makes a great learning experience for children.

The aquarium is not as big as the ones you can find in the different capitals of Europe. However, your little ones will certainly appreciate the visit and spot his or her favourite fishes.

Beware that the aquarium will be closed in August for maintenance and weekends of July too. Good to check their website for opening hours before heading to the Aquarium. Also Murcia is definitely worth checking out for half day out if you are bored of Torrevieja and its surroundings.
