1. Bel & The Dragon
An elegantly styled pub serving great food and fine wines just moments from Windsor Castle. You’ll be surrounded by history here – the restaurant and tea room has been serving food and drink since the 11th Century. The Japanese chain always receives great reviews from parents for their flavourful food and welcoming atmosphere to families. A wide range of the main menu dishes are available in miniature, such as katsu curry, grilled fish noodles and chicken ramen. Fresh, fast and healthy, Wagamama is a great choice for an easy lunch or dinner. Wagamama has been one of our favourite child friendly restaurants chain so we had to mention it here in Windsor.

4. The Boatman
A popular riverside pub serving classic British cuisine in a tranquil spot. Nestled just below the castle, The Boatman’s riverside terrace is one of the best locations in town for soaking up summer vibes. The glass conservatory roof retracts so if the weather does get wet, you won’t! The pub is very welcoming to children, who have their own menu of gourmet burgers, fish and pasta.

5. Meimo
This Moroccan restaurant serves meze style dishes bursting with flavour, in the heart of historic Windsor. Feast on zingy lemon houmous, fragrant tagines and char grilled king prawns. The kids menu features classic British dishes like sausage and chips, but the main menu’s ‘small plates’ section offers much more exciting dishes which are the perfect size for kids.
