This is one of our favourite family friendly hotels in Devon, offering lots of great facilities and incredible sea views. They offer two different sized family rooms, a salt water swimming pool and a great outdoor play area. And for the dog? Well firstly there are two resident labradors for them to play with, as well as dog beds and treats in your room. Guests can also request a ‘Pooch Guide’, containing a map of all the best dog walks nearby. All of the hotel’s ground floor bedrooms open directly onto 10 acres of gardens, so they’re your best bet if you’re bringing a pet.

4. Swafield Hall, Norfolk

The extensive gardens make this country house hotel perfect for toddlers and dogs. The beautiful grounds include an orchard, autumn garden, summer garden, secret garden, duck pond, croquet lawn and tennis court.  Located Between Cromer and the Norfolk Broads, it’s just 2.5 miles from the dog friendly beach. 6. Woolley Grange, Wiltshire

This standout family hotel has won numerous awards for its child friendly facilitates (including a fab spa) and they happily welcome dogs too. Not only are furry friends allowed to stay, they get a lot of their own amenities too. In the room you’ll find a dog bed, towel, bowl and treats. Plus whilst your dog is in your room and you are in the restaurant, they offer a complimentary dog-listening service (and for babies too!). Woolley Grange is surrounded by beautiful grounds and some great walks, and there’s a dog shower and shampoo for your pooch back at the hotel.

7. Fisherman’s Huts, Whitstable

We love these converted fisherman’s huts, right on the each at trendy Whitstable. Four of the 13 huts are dog friendly, and sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children.  They are operated by the nearby Hotel Continental, where you can make use of all their facilities if you wish. Bright and modern inside, they open right out onto the shingle beach and oyster bay. Definitely one of the most unique places to stay with dogs in the UK that the whole family will love.

8. Ty Nant Cottages & Suites, Cotswolds

Choose from a Two Bedroom or Three Bedroom cottage, surrounded by acres of Cotswold countryside.
