3. Mesón El Monasterio, Los Realjos

Set in a former monastery at the foot of a volcano in the north of the island, this beautiful venue has large grounds and gardens to explore and even some resident animals for the kids to meet. 5. Tasca Tierras del Sur, Granadilla de Abona

Travel inland to this celebrated tapas restaurant which receives rave reviews on Trip Advisor for its food, where each small dish is an explosion of flavour.
